Alexis Castle from the ABC hit TV show Castle will be the celebrity VIP at this year's Komen Texarkana Race for the Cure this weekend. Of course, Alexis is her character name from the crime-drama but her real name is Molly Quinn and she is a hometown southern girl from right here in Texarkana.

Quinn fell in love with every aspect of performing arts since the age of six with she performed in a community ballet. By the time Quinn reached the end of the sixth grade she attended a summer film camp in Dallas where she met up with Linda Seto of the Young Actors Studio during an audition session. It was there where she was noticed for her remarkable talent and was later asked to go to L.A. After a grueling six months of theatrical and film training she joined the Osbrink Agency of Los Angeles.

And now as the saying goes the rest is history. Besides being a regular cast member on "Castle" she is the lead voice, Bloom, in Nickelodeon's worldwide hit cartoon "Winx Club." Over the past few years she has worked with Robert Zemeckis on "A Christmas Carol" and with Jake Kasdan on "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" and most recently was in the comedy "The Millers."

The sky's the limit for this young Hollywood actress and producer from small town Texarkana. Welcome home Molly Quinn and Happy Birthday too! Molly just turned 21 on October 8.
