Andy Griffith dead at age 86.

We all grew up with Sheriff Andy keeping Mayberry safe, mostly from Deputy Barney Fife I think, but a lot of people have never heard some of his early stories before his television career began.

Andy Griffith was a great story teller, not just a comedian. Comedians tell jokes, Andy Griffith spun yarns, he had a way of telling stories from his country boy perspective that was truly hysterical. Below is one of my favorites titled 'What It Was, Was Football'.
