Texarkana, Texas Police say another attempt was made to forcibly steal money from a local ATM machine.

At about 3AM today, officers responded to an alarm call at the CVS Pharmacy, located in the 1900 block of Richmond Road. When officers arrived, they discovered the glass entrance doors of the business shattered. Suspects used a vehicle to drive through the doors and specifically targeted the ATM inside the building.

Three suspects were able to successfully pull it out of the building and into the parking lot using a chain attached to the vehicle.

Officers found the ATM unopened and an abandoned 1989 GMC pickup truck near the east edge of the parking lot. The truck had been reported stolen from an apartment complex in Texarkana, Texas on Nov. 27, 2015.
The building sustained heavy damage during the burglary.
