I WON! I ate five pounds of crawfish in five minutes and twelve seconds beating my second place finish time last year by three minutes. I was SO excited! I won a bunch of prizes and the ability to finally say I got first place in the Women's Crawfish Eating Contest at Mudbug Madness Festival in Shreveport.

Silly thing happened over the weekend and you know me, I must share!

Trying on silly hats is a favorite past time of mine but Mardi Gras hats make it an extra special occasion.

This ad appeared in a newspaper in Worland Wyoming. Is she the meanest mom?

Will your office be having a holiday party this year? Our group usually has two parties in December although both parties are not fully funded by the company. Last year we only had one. I blame the economy. The parties cost a lot unless you do a potluck event. I may get some heat from co-workers but check out all of the photos and video from our past Christmas parties!

Throwback, how appropriate. These jerseys should be thrown back for sure.

We all know women can be evil. Even women know women can be evil. Some men can be pretty evil too. The evilness that I am talking about is intentionally posting very unflattering photos of people just to be mean.

Can you tell who this is?

This turtle was crawling through the grass near the Hot Tails crawfish stand on Hwy 71 South. I guess he knew there was no fear in him being boiled and eaten.

Do you notice what is off with these photos?

It is going to be an early Spring this year which means the snakes will be out soon. Lee Ann is a fellow dog-rescuing friend of mine. Her favorite breed is usually Black Labrador Retrievers, not snakes! This is what she encountered one day last Spring while out doing her morning feeding.

Christmas parties. The games, white elephant gift exchange, wild game chili and good friends. The memories will soon fade into the new year but the photos will go on for eternity!
