The guys on The Verge are calling it the ultimate selfie stick and I guess it would be, but I'm thinking more along the lines of a stable platform for making low/no budget movies and such.

For those of you who have been reading my blogs for a while you may recall my fascination with taking good videos, almost movie like. I try to plan out small scenes, at least in my head anyway, and then stitch them together in such a way as to be as entertaining as the content of the video, I try to keep them interesting.

One way to do that is a stable video platform. Now you can spend thousands and buy high-end video cams and factory-made stable shooting platforms, or go low budget using pvc pipe, nuts and bolts. Or you could check out the new DJI Osmo. This just might be the budding junior cinematographer's dream come true. No word yet on the price.

By the way, if the name DJI sounds familiar, they make one of the most popular drones on the market today.

Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
