Good Grief Day is This Friday, June 20

Hospice of Texarkana presents Good Grief Day this Friday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is the 14th annual Good Grief Day for Hospice, a four hour summer program designed to help kids age 7-15 who are grieving. There is no cost to attend and lunch is provided. The program will include pet therapy, art therapy and a balloon release activity at the end where the kids send a message “up to their loved one”.  Hospice strongly believes that this helps with the healing process. Any youth with a loss due to death, divorce, deployment, move or incarceration of a loved one, is welcome to attend.
