Having Fun at Jeans & Bling 2016

Thanks to all who attended the 2016 Jeans & Bling Saturday evening Sept. 24, 2016. We had a great time for a great local cause -- the nonprofit Hospice of Texarkana Inpatient Care Center.

Jeans & Bling 2016 hosted international ballroom dancers of Dancing With The Stars fame Anna Trebunskaya and Dmitry Chaplin. The pair beautifully danced a Foxtrot, a Tango and a Rumba for the audience. The amazing performers also got a lot of people on their feet to learn the Mambo.

The 7^th annual event also featured the city’s first "Sing at the Bling Lip Sync Battle," which included energetic performances by Stephanie Potter Black and Aria Potter, Kelli Ashbrook Cummings and Friends, and Matt Graves. Audience members chose the winner by voting with dollar bills. Together, they raised $2,537+ for the cause and the singer who took home the coveted trophy was Matt Graves.

The Ice Sculpture was beautiful and the audience looked great in their Jeans & Bling. Split Decision sounded better than ever and I enjoyed being able to host the event once again this year. Thank you Texarkana for supporting Jeans & Bling 2016.
