Local Meningitis Scare Turns Out To Be False

Texas A&M-Texarkana officials now say a health scare involving a local college student turns out to be false. university officials back in February had alerted the students, faculty, and the public that a student was being treated for possible Viral Meningitis.

Turns out further tests indicate that the student is suffering from a non contagious illness which is being treated. The public was notified due to the seriousness of meningitis.
