Miller County Inmate Allegedly Injures Himself
A Miller County inmate allegedly injured himself while in a holding cell after being arrested.
Sheriff''s deputies arrested Scotty Lynn Grammer, 35, on an outstanding warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. He was transported to the Miller County Detention Center, booked, and placed into a holding cell by himself.
During a routine inmate count, Grammer was found in his cell with what seemed to be a head injury. He was transported to a local hospital where he underwent medical treatment. According to authorities, thus far there is no evidence indicating that this was anything other than a self-inflicted injury. With the assistance of the Arkansas State Police, a full investigation is being conducted on the incident.
