Olympic Thoughts

It's hard not to get emotional when American athletes bring home the gold at the Olympics and show their pride in their country.This beautiful picture of American Allyson Felix was taken after she won the 200 meters race yesterday at the London Games. Her holding up the American Flag and sporting a big smile makes you realized what these games are really all about.

Did you see Aly Raisman's Floor Exercise that won her a gold medal? If you have not check it out its a thing of beuaty and amazing.

And of course. the Beach Volleyball finals. All American affair that left the U.S. with gold and silver medals. Congrats to the team of Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings who leave London without losing a match. That's an unbelievable three gold medals in three different Olympic Games  for the duo.

Then there is Michael Phelps who is on a scale all his own in swimming, having another big week and ending his career with 22 Olympic Medals.

Makes you proud to be an American. My message to them is thanks for the memories.
