Do you know which Texas park this is and where it is located? Take your best guess!

If you guessed that it was Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Canyon, Texas (just south of Amarillo), then you were correct!

The second largest canyon in the United States (only the Grand Canyon in Arizona is larger), this gorgeous canyon is 120 miles long, 20 miles wide and 800 feet deep and was created from erosion formed by the Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River.

The area became a state park in 1934 and is a great place to take the family. With cabin rentals, tent and RV sites with water and electricity, hiking and biking trails, on-site horse rentals and much more, this is a fantastic vacation destination.
