Pet of the Week – Amanda Needs a Home [PHOTOS/VIDEOS]

Sweet Amanda is a sweet dog that will make a great pet for a single person or a family. She is approximately one year old and looks like a mix of Lab and Shepherd. She weighs about 25 pounds. Amanda is a little shy but will warm up  quickly once she gets into a home.

She has an irresistible face!

Amanda also comes with a free wellness exam from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital.

There were only four animals adopted from the shelter last week. Many animals had to be euthanized because there just is not enough room to house all of them. Space is an issue at our shelter.

You can make a difference by giving a dog a bath or helping a potential adopter walk a dog. Please remember to SPAY AND NEUTER your pets. Our local shelter is always over-crowded with homeless dogs and cats. Don't ask for gifts on your birthday this year, have an animal spayed or neutered instead.

The shelter needs dog and puppy food donations PLEASE! They have so many strays and owner give-ups coming in daily that the food demand is high and the supply is low.
