June 17, 2013 10:18 AM The AKC All Breed Dog Show hit Texarkana this past weekend with a smaller than normal turnout of entrants.
The Kennel Club of Texarkana hosted this annual event. There has been some turmoil in the kennel club which may have led to the less than normal participation of entrants and spectators.

June 14, 2013 8:40 AM There is a don't miss event this weekend -- the AKC All Breed Dog Show will be in Texarkana on Saturday and Sunday. Over 750 dogs representing more than 124 different breeds will compete in conformation and obedience.
There will also be many vendors with tons of cool items for you to see and purchase. New this year is the four to six month beginner puppy competitions that is bound to bring a smile to your face.

June 11, 2013 8:19 AM Maggie is a gorgeous one and a half year old Great Dane/Pitt. She is already spayed and is current on vaccinations. She was just surrendered to the shelter on Monday because the owner had something come up and couldn't care for her anymore. Maggie is good on a leash. She is also good with other dogs.
Since Maggie is already spayed her adoption fee is only $40. When you adopt Maggie you also get a FREE Wellness Package from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital.

The clinic will move to Petsmart in Texarkana, Texas starting in July.
