Meet Rudey! He is a male terrier mix waiting at the Texarkana animal shelter to be adopted. When he first came to the shelter several months ago he was a bit of a fighter but now this little guy has had a full transformation! He couldn't wait to run and play with other dogs. Leisel is a beautiful female lab mix that is at our animal shelter in Texarkana. She walks fantastic on a leash--as if she has had a lot of training. She is a very calm dog to be so young. Her estimated age is two years old. She would make an excellent friend and companion! She does not bark--a very quiet dog. She loves to run and play but is also down to earth and gentle.

Maggie is a gorgeous one and a half year old Great Dane/Pitt. She is already spayed and is current on vaccinations. She was just surrendered to the shelter on Monday because the owner had something come up and couldn't care for her anymore. Maggie is good on a leash. She is also good with other dogs. He has SO much potential but unfortunately, after weeks of being confined and bullied, he has developed a strong dislike for his kennel mate and has started fighting with him.
