Rocky is a Black Mouth Cur mix. He is a little over 1 year old. Rocky is very sweet and good on a leash. He is very mild mannered but still playful. His estimated weight is 60 pounds.

Our feature pets this week are Oreo and Morris. Oreo is a terrier mix that is approximately 2 years old that lives in kennel D7. Morris is a 2 year old cat that currently lives in kennel C38.

There are so puppies at the shelter right now. It seems the Spring baby season is here early. There are at least 4 litters of babies with their mommas. So far only one litter is on the adoption floor—there just is not enough room for all of the animals. From small breed dogs to large breed dogs. Walt is a great little dog. He is about one year old and weighs around 10 pounds. He is very sweet and loving. Unbelievable but Walt has been at the shelter since December. Walt comes with a free wellness exam from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital.

Paris is a gorgeous Himalayan/Persian kitten that is only 10 months old. According to Himalayancat.com, these cats are the sweetest cats in the world! Elle is a beautiful husky. She is sweet and very affectionate. Her fur is very plush and super soft. Poor girl had 10 puppies at the shelter, none of them made it. She talks when you ask questions--check out her video below!

Teddy is a 2 year old black and silver Yorkie mix at the Texarkana Arkansas Animal Care and Adoption Center. He is very sweet and just wants a home of his own. Daniel, a stray beagle miraculously survived being euthanized in a gas chamber, and his handler stopped by ‘Good Morning America’ to make an appeal for a permanent home. He’s earned it. They now have hundreds of applications to adopt Daniel. Wouldn't it be great of those applicants would now adopt a dog from the shelter?
