Some much needed rain and slightly cooler temperatures may be headed for the Texarkana Area

Happy Independence Week! I love Disney/Pixar movies as most of  the planet does apparently, this teaser for next year has Monster Hit written all over it.

The extremely successful video game called 'Portal' was originally released in 2007 from game developers Valve Corporation, the same people that brought you 'Half-Life 2', 'Team Fortess' and many others. 'Portal 2' was released to a salivating gamer audience in 2011 and has gone on to win numerous awards just like the original game.

I recently took in a fantastic concert experience in Grand Prairie, TX at the Verizon Theater. My wife, youngest son and I all went to see 'Queen Extravaganza,' an amazing tribute band put together by Queen drummer Roger Taylor. By the way, look for a review of the show by my wife soon. It was great!

A report on MSNBC Entertainment is saying that some people are willing to pay up to $100 or more for a ticket to see the new Batman movie 'The Dark Night Rises' which opens in theaters July 20. Is it just me, or are a lot of people's priorities way out of whack these days?
