August may be hot but one of the great things that returns this time of year is the Perseid Meteor Shower, if you like gazing at the stars and watching meteor showers, this Thursday and Friday will be the best time to watch.

It's hot, and normally I would not be the first person to to tell you to go outside and do anything in this heat. But if you like gazing at the stars and watching meteor showers, this Wednesday night into Thursday morning will be the best time to watch the Perseid meteor shower!

I know it's hot, but if you like gazing at the stars and watching meteor showers, this may be the best weekend for a shooting star camp-out of the year!

I am not a hunter, I am a shooter and I love the shooting sports. I didn't grow up in a hunting family so that was something that was never burned into my DNA. But I do understand it, and I can surely empathize with anyone that has something they passionately love to do, yet can't do it anymore due to an injury.
