Texarkana, Arkansas Continuing to Search for a New City Attorney

The City of Texarkana, Arkansas Board of Directors' City Attorney Search Committee will meet today.It will be an executive session to consider applicants for the vacant city attorney's position. The meeting will take place inside the administrative conference room at City Hall beginning at 10 a.m.

The position is vacant due to the retirement of long time City Attorney Ned Stewart who stepped down at the end of last year. Stewart had been City Attorney since the 1990's.
