What’s Happening in T-Town — Pet Adoption Event at Tractor Supply in Texarkana on Saturday

Little Paws Rescue is holding an adoption event at Tractor Supply Company on State Line Avenue in Texarkana on Saturday, April 5 from 11am to 4pm. They will have many different dog breeds available for adoption with approved application. See photos of some of the dogs below.

All dogs and many puppies have been spayed or neutered and are current on vaccinations. Occasionally, puppies have been vaccinated, but not yet spayed or neutered. In these cases, a sterilization agreement is required as part of the adoption contract.

Sydney is a 10 month old Blue Heeler, she weighs 30lbs. She is fully vetted with spay, shots/rabies, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Volunteer Natalie Leach says, "I have been working with Sydney during all of her training. Very loyal, loving, and smart. Would make an excellent family dog or someone that can spend some time with her. This dog wants to please her handler. Would make an excellent herding dog on a farm or ranch too. The possibilities are endless. Anyone who adopts her I will help with your training of Sydney and share what I know about this dog. She gets along with other dogs except for an alpha female dog."

Hampton is a 2 year old Bassett Hound/Dachshund mix. He is fully vetted with neuter, shots/rabies, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Hampton is a super friendly and adorable dog, he gets along well with other dogs and loves kids. Hampton was found three weeks ago abandoned along I-30 and Hampton Rd in Nash. No owner was ever found sadly.

Sputnik is looking for his forever home. Love in a small package. Sputnik is a 1 year old Chihuahua, he weighs 5lbs. He is fully vetted with neuter, shots/rabies, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is house broken and crate trained. Gets along well with other dogs especially girls.
